Ester Riccardi

Hello there! 🙋‍♀️

I am Ester Riccardi and I am a PhD student in Computational Neuroscience and Generative AI at CIMeC (University of Trento, Italy), where I am supervised by Prof. Roberto Bottini and Prof. Paolo Rota.

My research focuses on 🧠 brain-to-image 🌅 decoding: reconstructing visual experience, mental imagery and dreams from brain activity using generative models.

Previously, I got both my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Trento, mainly studying Statistics, Network Science and Graphical Models.

Outside academia, I enjoy (trail) running, playing board and video games, reading and watching sport.
